Description
Wandi’s Little Voice is a story set in a Lusaka suburb. It is about a young girl transitioning into adolescence. It was first published in 2004 by Macmillan Education in South Africa and won the Macmillan Writers Prize for Africa.
Ellen Banda-Aaku has written several books for children and two novels: Patchwork and Madam First Lady. Patchwork won the Penguin Prize for African Writing and her short story Sozi’s Box won the Commonwealth Short Story Competition in 2007.
Ellen lives between Zambia and the UK.
